Desmond and Red Cliff I.
I'm not a big fan of Mandarin films, but I watched Red Cliff with some of the guys last night. And the amazing thing was... I really, really, enjoyed the movie.
My father loves such Mandarin films, and now (for this particular one, at least) I understand why.
(I can't believe I can't wait to watch the second one!)

you just watched Red Cliff (RC) 1? I watched it RC2 before I watched RC1. Ha! Ah well... Caught one while I was on the plane and had to land because it's only to Thailand!!! Sick Sick...
OH MAN! You should rent the DVD or something, I think it was really quite good. (Even if a tad unbelievable at times, haha.)
I hope RC2 was good because I feel so expectant! haha..
